 Epidemiological safety measures till the 2 July 2021 

The arrival of a student in the premises related to the study process and face-to-face contact with others shall be allowed if: 
  • the arrival and face to face contact does not contradict the Rector's Decree;
  • the arrival and face-to-face contact are planned and agreed in accordance with the procedure specified by the relevant department/academic structural unit;
  • the student fulfills one of the following criteria: 
    • is vaccinated against Covid-19 and has received full immunity in accordance with the vaccine;
    • can provide documentary evidence of an episode of Covid-19 infection in the last 180 days;
    • not later than within 72 hours prior to each such face-to-face contact, the student has undergone a Covid-19 test and received a negative result. 
Till the end of the semester, saliva tests can be done in a testing point at Dārza iela 5. The tests will be paid for by RSU. 

Testing will take place on Mondays and Thursdays from 09.00 to 12.00. 

 

 From 30 August 2021, students and employees corresponding to one of the following categories of people may participate in studies, including in medical institutions:
  • is vaccinated against Covid-19 and has received full immunity in accordance with the vaccine;
  • can provide documentary evidence of an episode of Covid-19 infection in the last 180 days;
  • not later than within 72 hours prior to each such face-to-face contact, the student has undergone a Covid-19 test and received a negative result. 
The tests are paid for by the student
Students who have documentary evidence of allergic reaction following the first dose of the vaccine against Covid-19, shall obtain a test regularly within 72 hours prior to each visit. The payment for test is made by RSU.
RSU Library shall provide lending and returning books (and other information resources) on-site, organising it by prior appointment. 

Further changes to the study process, including time limits, shall be set by another Rector’s decree, taking into consideration changes in laws and regulations, as well as trends in the epidemiological situation.

Heads of study programmes are obliged to ensure that all epidemiological safety measures and instructions by third parties (medical institutions, clinical base units, placement locations, places of practice, etc.) are strictly followed when carrying out RSU studies at these institutions.
