The Social Affairs of the Student Union represents students' interests on social issues, provides consultations to students on various matters, promotes student engagement in the study process, participates in improving the infrastructure of the university and its affiliated units, and encourages the promotion of an environmentally friendly lifestyle at the university.

Its main responsibilities include:

• Ensuring a comfortable study environment and recreational areas;
• Collaborating with the RSU IT Department, Infrastructure Department, and Career Center staff, thereby representing the students' viewpoint and promoting the improvement of the RSU environment and studies;
• Supervising the work of dormitory elders and communicating with management;
• Participating in and overseeing the fair distribution and awarding of scholarships and loans;
• Caring for students' mental health and providing psycho-emotional support;
• Overseeing the Student House.
