Event “Mazpipari” 2021

On March 13 of this year, the annual cohesive, growth-promoting seminar “Mazpipari” organized by RSU SU took place. This year in a completely different format than in previous years - online and for one day.

Five major activities were implemented:

• Discussion and teamwork in Zoom breakout rooms on topics - "What is your potential?" and “Team Potential”.

• Lecture by Rihards Blese "How to learn from mistakes and not be afraid of your opportunities?"

• Lecture by Katrīna Priede "How to use the student's experience for future development?"

• Task in groups along the Mazpipari track.

• Evening task and performances.

The discussion included conversations about each person's "potential" and understanding of the word. We also discussed what to expect at the seminar, as well as discussed the topic "carve your key".

The team work involved working together in non-standard situations, where each participant was given their share of the puzzle to be described. The track consisted of 6 sections where teams faced a variety of tasks that included talking to “superiors”, building team spirit in emergencies, sharpening minds in riddles, dealing with foreign environments and language in non-standard situations, and planning their arguments.

At the end of the evening there were performances - 8 teams created their performances on various topics with the opportunity to create their own video in advance or show the performance on the Zoom platform on site.
