On March 15th, the 5th Council meeting took place, where a Councilor of the Faculty of European Studies was elected, as well as changes in the composition of the RSU SU Social Support Funding Commission were approved.

At the beginning of the session, Deina Zalāne, a first-year student of the Faculty of European Studies, gave her presentation and vision. Deina set as her goals the improvement of mutual communication between the teaching staff and students of the faculty, as well as more effective identification of shortcomings in the study process, so that they can be solved more successfully.

We congratulate Deina on her new position and wish her success in achieving her goals!

Changes in the composition of the Social Support Funding Commission were approved during the meeting. From now on, Margarita Kovrigo, a first-year student of the Faculty of Law, will work in this commission. We wish you luck in your new position!

At the end of the meeting, the reports of the RSU SU Board and the ISA Board on what was done and started were reviewed. As usual, the ISC 2023 (International Student Conference) project manager Klāvs Putenis presented the meeting participants with the current affairs of the conference and what has been done.

At the end of the session, the member of the month was also announced, which is Anete Aleksandrova, a first-year student at the Faculty of Communication. We congratulate you and wish you to participate in Student Union activities in the future as well!
