Review of the 3rd Council meeting
On 13th of January, the 3rd Council meeting took place, which was the first meeting in the new year 2021. During the meeting, the existing and new student representatives were re-elected, members of various commissions were approved and other issues related to RSU SU were discussed.
A total of 2 student representatives were elected at this meeting of the Council - Krista Kīna, a third-year student of the Faculty of Rehabilitation, was elected as the senior of the Council, while Rihards Tālivaldis Bagons, a first-year student, will be the Councillor of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

New members were approved in the RSU SU members competence improvement committee, the Students’ Scientific Support committee, the Project Contests` Committee.
When deciding on the improvement of this year's new budget of RSU SU, long discussions with ISA representatives on the distribution of funding took place. In the end, both sides reached a compromise and agreed to establish guidelines for cooperation, which were approved by the Council as a decision.
Given the current epidemiological situation in the country, the decision to write a letter to the Ministry of Health was drawn up as the suggestion from the Council members to draw attention to the need to vaccinate students.
At the end of the Council meeting, the Latvian Pharmacy Students' Association and RSU SU Senators presented the achievements of 2020, as well as current actualities.
At the end of the Council meeting, Irina Mariotti, a fifth-year student of ISD, was elected the most active member of RSU SU in January. Congratulations!
