Review of the 4th Council meeting

The 4th Council meeting took place on 17 February. During it, several new student representatives were elected, the composition and regulations of the commissions were approved, as well as other issues related to RSU SU were discussed.

At this Council meeting 4 student representatives were elected - Rinalds Seržants, a fourth-year student of the Faculty of Pharmacy as student senator, Alise Antuanete Sniķere, a first-year student in the Faculty of Medicine as Faculty councillor of the Faculty of Medicine. The member of the Commission for the recognition of competences acquired outside formal education or professional experience and of learning outcomes achieved in prior education will be Anna Kricka, a third-year student of the Faculty of Medicine, while Ingvars Kudeikins, a first-year student of the Faculty of European Studies, will perform the duties of a RSU SU councillor of the Latvian Students' Union.

Congratulations to all newly elected students and we wish you strength in your responsible positions!

The composition of the Project Competition Commission, the Regulations “Get Well with Joy”, the Regulations for Granting Social Support Funding and the job descriptions of the International Student Association (ISA) were also approved at the meeting.

At the end of the Council meeting, the Council members were introduced to the reports of the Latvian Dental Students' Association, RSU SU and ISA.

At the end of the Council meeting, Simon Vogel, the second year student of the International Students Department, was recognized as the most active member of RSU SU of the month. Congratulations and thank you for your work!
