On March 9, 2024, the "Culture and Communication Seminar" organized by RSU SU took place, the main theme of which this year was self-growth and breakthrough.

During the one-day seminar, its participants, by participating in various activities, including a photo orientation activity in Old Riga, creating projects, etc., had the opportunity to get to know themselves and motivate themselves for self-improvement.

Additional value is given to the seminar by the well-thought-out stories of the lecturers corresponding to the topic of the seminar. The first lecture was led by former RSU SU member Santa Kliedere, who shared her "breakthrough" story and reminded that it is important to make mistakes because it is possible to learn from them.

On the other hand, the second lecture was led by Anna Balode, mentor, practitioner of adventure therapy, entrepreneur and head of the center for eating disorders. She shared her life experiences of overcoming various difficulties after losing herself at a young age. This experience gave her the inspiration to break through life's difficulties and rebuild herself to now help others who have found themselves in similar situations. Anna's personal path inspired the participants to learn about themselves and improve.

The third lecture was led by the representative of the European Parliament office, Melisa Matvejeva. She talked about the need not to be afraid and to try new ways to achieve their goals, sharing their experience of essential factors that contribute not only to the expression of passions, but also to strategic career development. Melisa also reminded us about civic activism and why it is especially important right now.

The seminar was filled with new insights, positive emotions and a warm atmosphere. Thank you to everyone who participated in creating the seminar and was a part of it!

We would also like to thank the excellent supporters of the project: Zuzeum, Captain Sushi, Manilla , KurPrikols?,  Players Club LV, Iļguciema Bakery Confectionery.
