One thing that should absolutely be introduced in our university?

RSU needs to be accredited according the WFME standards, which is necessary for medical students wishing to one day work in the US, Israel as well as other countries such as the United Arab Emirates or New Zealand. This has been the main project that I have been working on the past year and will continue to tirelessly work on this project until accreditation has been achieved.

Why do you want to candidate in RSU SU Council elections?

Hi everyone, I'm Simon, a 2nd year medical student from the US with roots in Germany. I was a candidate for the student council last year and even though I was not elected, there were plenty of instances, when I was a stand in for student council members that could not attend a meeting. Since I thoroughly enjoyed the meetings and I would love to continue to work on important projects, such as the WFME accreditation, as well as to represent the international students, to give them a voice in the council and to bring the international and Latvian communities together, I would kindly ask you to consider voting for me!
