Gastroenterology Student Intrest Group
The Gastroenterology SZP is intended for all enthusiasts of gastroenterology, as well as for all those who wish to be informed about current developments in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
The aim of the group is to broaden and deepen members' knowledge of gastroenterology, and to foster the ability to link it to other medical disciplines. The Circle will cover a wide range of topics from gastrointestinal oncology to functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract. It provides an opportunity to understand the endoscopic treatment techniques used in gastroenterology.
During the year, members and visitors will have the opportunity to participate in both theoretical and practical sessions, encouraging clinical thinking. The Circle will organise various joint sessions with other disciplines of the SGA to promote students' understanding of the interactions between the different fields of medicine.
