Digital Health Student Interest Group
The Riga Stradiņš University has a student research group on digital health since 2023.
The aim of the Digital Health Circle is to introduce future medical professionals and other interested parties to the opportunities and challenges of the future of medicine, which will be created by the introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in medicine, the rapid development of technology, and the digitisation of the entire medical sector. To better understand where the future of medicine is heading, students will not only learn the basic principles of AI, but also understand what medical technologies AI already exists in and what impact AI will have on human and public health research in the future.
