The Genetics interest group is for anyone interested in genetics and molecular biology. The group gives an opportunity to present and supplement knowledge about the latest research in genetics, as well as the application of genetics in clinical practice.
There are six sessions a year, at least one of which is a practical session that takes place in the RSU Molecular Genetics Research Laboratory. In the practical session, students have the opportunity to perform their own genetic analysis (for example, to test for mutations that cause the most common genetic diseases). In the group it is also possible to develop a scientific work in the RSU Molecular Genetics Scientific Laboratory. You can choose the topic of your research from the offered ones or come up with your own idea.
The main thing is not to be afraid to participate, because if something is not clear, we will explain everything and help!
