The Psychiatry Club brings together students with an in-depth interest in the field of psychiatry.

The importance of psychiatry has increased significantly in recent years, as public awareness of it has grown and the stigma of mental disorders has decreased. More and more people are seeking help, recognizing mental health as one of the most important cornerstones of well-being. The role of psychiatry is growing in almost all medical fields, demonstrating the close interaction between mind and body.

Promoting understanding of a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, the Psychiatry Group will collaborate this year with specialists from various fields, studying how the psyche affects somatic diseases, how it affects the patient and what treatment methods can be used.

Many unprecedented events are expected at the Psychiatry Group this year. I can whisper about a few - several joint sessions with foreign clinics, an interdisciplinary conference, simulations at MITC and many unprecedented opportunities and support for scientific activity. Let's create a Psychiatry Club as a place to meet enthusiasts and those interested in the field, so let's take the time to make friends and learn, share ideas and implement them together!

Psychiatry is a specialty of the future, in which the knowledge gained will be invaluable to future professionals in any medical field, continuing their work in educating patients and improving the quality of life in society. I look forward to a dynamic and exciting year for all students!
