The Urology Student Scientific Group was established in 2020 with the aim of uniting medical students from the 1st to 6th year of study interested in urology. In the group, members and visitors will be able to learn about current events in the field and participate in discussions with professionals.

The Urology Group meetings are held once a month. Most of the meetings are theoretical, where current topics are discussed. The latest research and case report examples are included and discussed at each meeting, and discussions are held. The group also holds practical meetings, where group members have the opportunity to strengthen their skills and apply them practically in urological manipulations, for example, in digital rectal examination simulators, ultrasonography, surgical suturing and other simulations.

One of the main tasks of the Urology Student Scientific Group is to interest students in scientific activity. Together with experienced mentors, the group provides the opportunity to participate and speak at international scientific conferences. The group also updates industry-related events, providing its most active members with the opportunity to attend them.

More detailed information about meetings and activities is published on the group’s Facebook page, as well as sent electronically to group members and interested parties.
